John Murray, separated from his insertion team, wakes up in a ransacked hospital. With blanks in his memory and no idea of the time that has passed, he takes a gun and makes for the city nearby. Along the way he sees the full horror of the cultist revolution; women and their babies murdered, people crucified and dismembered, sometimes cannibalised. Pentagrams line the streets. Seeking to join with others and escape, Murray meets Chris, a survivor from the city outskirts. Meanwhile, at the hospital, a great evil comes to possess the dying body of a man, and forges a path towards the city, raising the dead in his wake and turning men into demons...

Lost Nation - Interdiction
Making it to the train station, Murray and Chris are nevertheless almost by a rampaging, invincible demon. Murrah and Chris join the irregular troops who defend the station, but all seems lost. However, a mysterious warrior known as The Dark One intervenes and slays the monster. Revealed to be the Protector of the Seals, a guardian who stands between Hell and Earth, The Dark One is suddenly set upon by the resurrected man from the hospital- The Dark Messiah.
Lost Nation - Confrontation
The Dark One confronts his undead assailant but is quickly outmatched. Murray and the Irregulars escape on board their armoured train and head southeast, but with their leader dead and the survivors in tatters, no-one is sure where they really stand. The decision is made to avoid Chunder Security altogether, but before they make it to the next town to regroup, The Dark One immolates himself and the surrounding city in a last-ditch attempt to kill his enemy. The shockwave blows the train off its tracks. Unconscious and stranded, the irregulars are surrounded on all sides by evil forces and the never-ending ranks of undead...
Lost Nation - Concussion
The Irregulars have escaped the destruction of the city, but how many have survived? With the train destroyed and a growing infestation of the undead now bearing down on all the remaining living, things are looking grim for our heroes. Meanwhile, Murray begins to experience bizarre dreams...
